Skills in Action:
A Gressingham Foods Case Study
The Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) is about ensuring Norfolk’s skills system responds to the needs of employers and supports businesses to build the workforce they need to succeed.
Our Keystone Employers are leading the way in demonstrating what that can look like in practice. Gressingham Foods is a shining example, investing in the development of its managers to strengthen leadership capability, empower its teams and drive real improvements across the business.
Its six-month leadership development programme involved 150 managers and has contributed to more than £1 million in projected savings, alongside significant operational and cultural benefits.

Case Studies
The AI Guys
“The LSIP identified a clear need for AI education and upskilling across the region, and that is exactly what we have been delivering. The University of Suffolk and EPPH are great examples of that, both coming through the Chamber network and both turning into really meaningful projects and relationships.”
Offset Films
“The LSIP Keystone employer initiative has been a great opportunity for Offset Films. As we consider growth within the creative sector and the future of our video production company, the introductions and partnerships we have made through the initiative are vital in providing a path forward.”
Apprenticeships Suffolk
“The LSIP team has been actively engaging with local businesses and keystone employers to raise awareness of available support and connect employers with expert advice. One area of particular focus has been introducing employers to the Apprenticeships Suffolk service, helping to facilitate conversations around apprenticeship funding opportunities, including apprenticeship levy transfers.”
