Frequently Asked Questions

How does LSIP intelligence help with curriculum planning?
Our employer surveys, sector roundtables, and progress reports provide detailed insights into skills gaps, emerging needs, and employer priorities across all 11 sectors. This data helps you make evidence-based decisions about course content, delivery methods, and where to focus investment.
What is the LSIF and how can we access it?
The Local Skills Improvement Fund (LSIF) is £4.8m of government funding to support providers in responding to LSIP priorities. Funding supports collaborative projects between providers that address identified skills gaps. Contact us to discuss current opportunities and upcoming calls for proposals.
Do we need to attend all Provider Forums?
No. While we encourage regular attendance to stay informed and connected, we understand capacity constraints. Forums are quarterly, and we share notes and key decisions with all registered providers afterwards.
Can we attend sector roundtables even though they’re employer-focused?
Yes. While sector roundtables primarily bring together employers, we actively encourage provider participation. These events are invaluable opportunities to hear directly from employers about their needs and build relationships that can lead to collaboration.
How do we share details of our current provision?
Contact us using the form above or email providers@norfolksuffolklsip.co.uk. We’ll arrange a conversation to understand your current offer, specialisms, capacity, and any gaps you’ve identified. This helps us build a comprehensive regional picture.
We’re already working with employers, how does LSIP add value?
LSIP complements your existing employer engagement by providing: (1) structured access to employers across all sectors through roundtables, (2) broader labour market intelligence beyond your immediate contacts, (3) opportunities to collaborate with other providers, (4) access to LSIF funding for new provision, and (5) a voice in shaping regional skills priorities.
